ATTENTION     VENDORS

(A)     Registration of New Vendors /Addition of products for existing vendors/ enhancement of capacities of existing registered products,  for all chapters  (except OIL & GAS EQUIPMENT category)   is closed with effect from 16.7.10 till further notice.

Interested  Vendors  for registration/ product addition/ enhancement of capacities for existing registered products, for  OIL & GAS EQUIPMENT category   may  download the Registration Form (VIF) by  Clicking  here and after filling in some preliminary information about their organisation on this web site.

Important Notices For Vendors:

(1)   Registration form (VIF) complete in all respect along with all required documents and DD must be sent to our  Delhi office( for OIL & GAS EQUIPMENT category) at the address as given below.

(2) The Item No.8 of the VIF must be filled up with Chapter No(s) and Item Name(s) as  identified  under MECON’s web site www.meconlimited.co.in ->Vendor Registration->Products/ Services ( for which registration is done in MECON ) . Failing to do this, and simply mentioning “ Refer to Product Catalogue/ List”, or description in any other form  may invite summary rejection of your application.

 (3)Please do not fill up anything under Item -8(b).

4) Under Items 26,27 & 28 of VIF must be filled up in the format given there, besides attaching relevant document’s copy as instructed.  In case of any doubt, undersigned may be contacted.

(5) Kindly submit the downloaded  VIF Form duly filled in, signed and stamped.  You may like to add  more documents which are relevant to your  application, if you so desire. All documents should be punched and put in a folder for submission.

(6)  Please DO NOT spiral bind the documents including filled up VIF.

(7)  Kindly note that failure to submit all  documents listed below  along with the filled up VIF, may  result in summary rejection of the registration application. The DD of amount indicated at Sl. No.10 below is non-refundable.

(8)  Vendors may kindly note that the average processing time for an application is  about 6-8 months.

(9)  We endeavor  to give fair chance to our various  vendors to participate in tendering process for various projects to be undertaken by MECON and / or its clients. However, registration with us does not mean automatic issue of enquiries/ inclusion of names in approved list to clients as it depends on many factors ( type of project, size of project, technology, client’s choice, technical/ financial capability of vendors etc.). Vendors are also advised to visit MECON web site ( www.meconlimited.co.in   ) to peruse through "Active Tenders" of their interest.


After the VIF has been downloaded by vendor, Vendors are required to fill  item(s), sign and stamped with   date and submit in hard copy with following documents in hard copies to the authority as indicated below for relevant chapters, for further processing.

1. Current Postal address, phone, fax/ e-mail/ mobile    number, contact person.

2. Annual Financial Report  for last 3 consecutive years (Balance sheet & P/L Account included)

3. Current Banker's  Certificate indicating credit limit enjoyed by the vendor ( not older than one year )

4. List of major order for similar work   executed/being   executed  during   last  2 years along  with completion  certificates from  Clients.

5  Notarised Partnership Deed/ Memorandum & Article of Association/  other document(s) to establish nature of  the company ( as the case may be )

6. Copies of registration certificates from other Consultants/ Clients/ Agencies, as available.

7. Catalogue/ Brochures of the products/ services being applied for registration

8.  Quality Assurance Plan (QAP)

9. Organisation  Chart.

10. A DD of amount indicated below drawn in favour of MECON  Limited, Delhi  payable on any scheduled Bank at Delhi for Items under  OIL & GAS EQUIPMENT category

* Note: 1) Companies seeking registration/ renewal under SSI category must submit Notarised copy of  letter from Directorate of Industries (not more than two years old from the date of application ) or  notarized copy of Valid registration certificate from NSIC, confirming SSI status. Concessional processing charges for registration/ renewal  will be applicable only to those companies which are SSI Units at the time of application for registration/ renewal.

2) Application processing charges for New Registration / Addition of Products / Enhancement of capacity of Products are same.

(B)  Renewal of Registration For Vendors Whose Registration  is expiring/ expired  in near future/ past:

Vendors whose Registration is due to expire in near future  are requested to send following to our Ranchi office for Items under all categories,  at least 30- 60 days prior to expiry of registration period, for renewal , in case they desire to get their registration renewed for another three (3) years;

1)    Current Banker's  Certificate indicating credit limit enjoyed by the vendor ( not older than one year )

2)    Latest Annual Report ( Balance Sheet & P/L Account included)

3)    Copy of few purchase orders received, if any,  during last one year for the item(s) for which vendor is registered in MECON.

4)    Latest Product/ services catalogue, if any.

5)    Copy of earlier registration certificate issued by us.

6)    A DD of amount indicated below drawn in favour of MECON  Limited, Ranchi payable on any scheduled Bank at Ranchi

2) New Renewal Charges are applicable to vendors whose current Registration is expiring on or after 01.04.2010. For vendors whose current registration has expired on or before 31.03.2010, the charges shall remain unchanged at current level, i.e. Rs 12,500/-

Note:

a)    Failure to submit any of the above document may delay the renewal process.

b)    Renewal  will be done after review of the performance of the vendor in the past/ feedback.
