MECON has been involved in design and commissioning of large number of EHV sub-stations having voltage levels 400/220/132 kV.  These switch yard have been either main receiving sub-stations or major step down sub-stations of large plants or sending end sub – station of power plant. Many of these switch yard are having transformation capacity of range of 500 MVA or more.

  • Served as consultant cum Advisor to Ministry of Power, Govt. of India for Accelerated Power Development and reforms Program (APDRP) in Tamilnadu, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Uttaranchal, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh and Chattisgarh
